Op kant A van deze LP van de pianisten Lucas en Arthur Jussen vind je CANTUS - zes tracks die gebaseerd zijn op een aria of koraalmelodie. De eerste is een bijzondere bewerking voor twee piano's van de Aria 'Aus Liebe will mein Heiland sterben' uit Bachs Matthaeus Passion. Dan volgen drie koraalbewerkingen van Johannes Brahms. Hij schreef deze voor orgel, maar zijn goede vriend Mandyczewski bewerkte ze voor piano quatre-mains. De Duitse componist Reinhard Febel maakte een re:work van Bachs 'Erba
rm dich mein, o Herre Gott' BWV721, eveneens voor piano quatre-mains. Lucas en Arthur Jussen besluiten CANTUS met de versie voor twee piano's van Arvo Pärts 'Pari Intervallo'. Op kant B staat REVE: prachtige Franse, impressionistische pianomuziek van minder bekende componisten als Reynaldo Hahn, Charles Koechlin en Germaine Tailleferre. Meestal onbekende werken, die zeker zullen aanspreken als je graag naar rustige, melodieuze pianomuziek luistert.
