En om dit feest luister bij te zetten verschijnt er nieuwe muziek, De eerste single Runaway Child komt uit op 30 september via Excelsior Recordings. Het nummer staat op de EP Where The Rivers Meet die later dit jaar uit komt. Digitaal en op 7" vinyl. De datum van deze release is niet zomaar uit de lucht komen vallen. Het is een beladen dag voor de inheemse mensen in Canada en ook voor de alternatieve rockband uit Wijhe. Het is namelijk de National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. Het melancholieke rocknummer Runaway Child gaat over Canadese kinderen die nooit thuis zijn gekomen van de ‘residential schools’. Het doel van deze residentiële scholen was om de inheemse jongeren te scheiden van hun familie en cultuur om zo hun identiteit af te pakken. Veel van deze kinderen kwamen nooit meer thuis en hun ouders kregen te horen dat de kinderen waren weggelopen. In 2021 is er echter een massagraf gevonden in Kamloops waar minstens 215 kinderen zijn begraven. De kinderen liepen niet weg, ze werden vermoord. De band heeft familie wonen in Canada. In Saskatoon maar ook in Kamloops. Een deel van die familie zijn native americans. En daarom dit nummer op deze dag. Een heftig verhaal verpakt in een ijzersterke track. Tracklist 1.
