LP  Standard Edition  1 stuk(s)  Introductie: 2024-10-25 Productbeschrijving In 1977 kwam Wout Pennings, via de geluidstechnicus van Pennings hardrockband Country Road, Gerard Boeijen, in contact met diens jongere broer Frank Boeijen. In de Crossroad Studio in Oss namen ze aan het einde van dat jaar samen het album Frank Boeijen en Woutje Pennings op. Ondanks contacten bij de radio werd de plaat echter nooit gedraaid. Een jaar later belandde het album, via Pennings, bij platenmaatschappij CNR. Die hoorde er wel wat in en gaf het duo de gelegenheid om, onder productionele leiding van Rob de Nijs het album, inclusief vier nieuwe nummers opnieuw op te nemen. De titel werd iets korter: Boeijen en Pennings. Bekende artiesten als Jan Rietman en Jody Pijper tekenden voor de toetsen en de achtergrondzang. De arrangementen waren van Hans Hollestelle. Een unieke samenwerking die resulteerde in een prachtige plaat.
